Hi everyone! I just discovered Stand In Pride today and am so excited to join this network!
I live in the Central IL area and would love to be a stand-in parent figure for anyone who needs it. I'm a Cajun mom from South Louisiana who recently moved to the Midwest, and I definitely miss the many kids I claimed as my own over my years of teaching in LA. If you don't have a Christian friend or family member who loves you, not in spite of being LGBTQ+, but because it is a part of the whole and wonderfully created person that you are, I am ready to be your person.
I offer a range of mom skills, including showing up, feeding you, encouraging you, praying for or with you, and checking in on you to make sure you're taking care of yourself. Don't hesitate to reach out!
