What this covers

This policy covers the Stand In Pride, Inc. website and messages you send to the organization. Our mailing address is P.O. Box 4022, Oneida, TN 37841, United States.

You can browse this website without creating an account. Community conversations happen in Facebook groups, donations are handled through external payment services, and purchases take place in our separate store. Those services have their own privacy policies.

Information we use

When you browse

Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes technical information needed to deliver and protect the website. This can include your IP address, browser information, and the pages requested.

This website does not load advertising pixels, behavioral analytics, or embedded social media feeds. Fonts and images are served from the website.

Your display preference

If you use “Pause colors,” the website saves that choice in your browser’s local storage. It is used only to remember whether the rainbow animations should play. It does not identify you or follow you to other websites. See Cookies & display settings to remove the saved choice.

The group finder

Your location selection is used on the page to show a regional Facebook group. It is not saved or submitted to Stand In Pride. We do not request your device’s location.

When you contact us

The email helper on the Contact page keeps your draft in the page. It opens your email app so you can review and send your message. Preparing a draft does not submit it to us.

If you send an email, we receive your email address and whatever you include. We use that information to respond and handle your inquiry. Please include only what is needed, especially when discussing another person.

Donations and purchases

Payment services and the store collect the information needed for your transaction. They may share donation or order details with Stand In Pride for administration and support. This website does not collect payment card details.

Your privacy choices

• You can browse without using the email helper, group finder, or donation links.
• You can remove your saved color preference on the display-settings page.
• You can choose what to share when contacting us. You do not need to tell us your identity, family history, or personal circumstances to browse.
• You can ask about personal information you have sent us, or request access, correction, or deletion. The rights available to you depend on applicable law.

Send privacy requests to mitchell@standinpride.org. We may need information to verify that a request concerns you. Some records may need to be retained to meet legal or accounting obligations.

If you believe your data-protection rights have been violated, you may also have the right to contact the relevant regulator where you live.

Other services

Following an external link takes you to a separate service. Its own privacy policy and settings apply there.

Information you share in a group can be seen by other people in that group, including its administrators. A private group cannot prevent a member from copying something. Read the group’s rules before sharing.

Service providers may process information in countries other than your own. Their policies describe where and how they process it.

Keeping information safe

Information should be kept only for as long as it is needed for the purpose it was collected, including any legal recordkeeping requirements. Contact us if you have a question about a specific record.

No website, email service, or storage system can guarantee complete security. Please do not send payment card details, identity documents, or unnecessary sensitive information by email.

Young visitors

This website does not offer member accounts. Each community group has its own membership requirements. Check them with the group’s administrators before requesting to join. If you believe a child has sent us personal information that should be removed, contact us.
