Using this website

This website is provided by Stand In Pride, Inc. It shares information about our mission and helps visitors find community groups, donation options, and our store. These terms apply to use of this website.

Please use the website lawfully and respectfully. If you do not agree with these terms, please stop using it. Our Privacy policy explains how information is handled.

Browsing this website does not create a member account, subscription, or paid service. You do not need to donate or buy anything to find the community links.

Community connections

Stand In Pride helps LGBTQ+ people and allies find opportunities for support and chosen family. The website links to regional Facebook groups where members can get to know each other.

Joining a group is a membership request, not a guaranteed match or a promise that someone will be available for an event. Each group’s membership requirements, rules, and moderation apply alongside Facebook’s terms.

Read our Community Guidelines. Make your own decisions about what to share, who to meet, and which plans to make. Respect other people’s boundaries and privacy.

This website is not an emergency response service. If there is immediate danger, contact emergency services where you are.

Donations & purchases

Donations are completed through the payment service you choose. Review its terms, fees, payment details, and any recurring-gift settings before you finish a transaction.

Merchandise purchases are made in the separate Stand In Pride store. Product availability, prices, shipping, and returns are governed by the information and policies shown there at the time of purchase.

This website does not process card payments. For help with a donation or purchase, refer to your confirmation or contact the team. Nothing on this page changes any rights you have under applicable consumer law.

Content & respectful use

The website includes text, branding, photographs, and stories belonging to Stand In Pride or their respective owners. Sharing a link is welcome. Please ask permission before reusing photographs, logos, or someone’s personal story, unless the law allows your intended use.

Do not use the website to impersonate someone, harass others, collect personal information without permission, distribute malware, or interfere with the website’s operation.

When you contact us, send information you have the right to share. Do not include another person’s private information without their permission.

Availability & responsibility

We aim to keep the information and links useful and current, but pages, group links, products, and external services can change. Please let us know if something appears incorrect or is not working.

We cannot guarantee that the website will always be available or free of errors. Links to other websites do not mean that Stand In Pride controls their content, privacy practices, or availability.

Community stories describe individual experiences. They are not promises that another person will have the same experience.

Nothing in these terms excludes rights or responsibilities that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

Questions & changes

We may update these terms when the website changes. The current version will be available on this page.

Questions can be sent to mitchell@standinpride.org or by mail to Stand In Pride Inc., P.O. Box 4022, Oneida, TN 37841, United States.
